Naravin is registered for improved feed conversion efficiency in feedlot cattle.
Proven performance and health benefits
Large-scale commercial trials have demonstrated that Naravin provides similar performance to salinomycin.(1) These trials also confirmed that the addition of Tylan to rations containing Naravin can further improve feedlot performance by helping to reduce the incidence of liver abscesses associated with the rumenitis/acidosis complex. In one set of four trials, the addition of Tylan to rations containing Naravin improved average daily gain by 3.0% and average daily feed intake by 1.9% compared to Naravin alone.(1)
Feeding instructions
Naravin should be thoroughly mixed with other feed components to achieve a final concentration of 5–13 ppm on a 90% dry matter basis. Titration studies have determined the optimum weight gain response occurs at an inclusion rate of 10.2 ppm, while the maximum response in feed conversion efficiency occurs at an inclusion rate of 13.8 ppm.
