Proven efficacy against blowflies and maggots

Extinosad Eliminator provides effective protection against blowfly strike for 4–6 weeks in sheep with long wool. Australian trials have demonstrated that jetting with Extinosad Eliminator prevented 96.3% of blowfly strike cases in Merino sheep and effectively treated 99.1% of those sheep already struck.(1) Other trials have confirmed Extinosad Eliminator provides 100% efficacy in treating blowfly strike in coarse wool sheep, although a reduced period of protection may occur. Applied as a dressing, Extinosad Eliminator provides rapid control of maggots and blowflies, even OP-resistant strains. Australian and NZ trials have demonstrated 98.5% of struck Merino sheep and 100% of struck coarse wool (meat breed) sheep recovered completely after treatment with Extinosad Eliminator.(1) Extinosad Eliminator also protects mulesing, marking and docking wounds on Merino and crossbred lambs against blowfly strike for at least eight days. Trials have confirmed the incidence of blowfly strike in sheep with mulesing, marking and docking wounds treated with Extinosad Eliminator was considerably lower than those sheep treated with the OP compound, diazinon, to which there is widespread resistance.(2)
