Effective fluke, worm and lice treatments in one convenient pour-on dose

Fasimec™ Cattle Pour On is a pour-on for the treatment and control of liver fluke, roundworms and external parasites of beef cattle.

The active ingredients in Fasimec™ Cattle Pour On are triclabendazole and abamectin. Triclabendazole has efficacy against early immature, immature and mature stages of liver fluke. Abamectin is a member of the Macrocyclic Lactone family of drenches. It provides a broad spectrum of activity against specific abamectin-sensitive internal and external parasites.

Withholding Periods

Milk - DO NOT USE in dairy animals producing or which will in the future be producing milk for human consumption.


Meat - DO NOT USE less than 49 days before slaughter for human consumption. Beef calves born to cows that were treated with Fasimec™ Cattle Pour-On during pregnancy and calves suckling cows that have been treated during lactation must not be slaughtered for human consumption for 49 days after treatment of the dam.

Export Slaughter Interval

DO NOT USE less than 140 days before slaughter for export. Beef calves born to cows that were treated with Fasimec™ Cattle Pour-On during pregnancy and calves suckling cows that have been treated during lactation must not be slaughtered for the export market for 140 days after treatment of the dam.

Directions For Use

This product is to be administered as a pour-on treatment at 5 mL/50 kg body weight. Apply along the backline of the animal, using a standard pour-on applicator, in a strip starting between the shoulder blades. This product is not to be given orally or injected.

Restraints

DO NOT USE in dairy animals producing or which will in the future be producing milk for human consumption.

Contraindications

This product is contraindicated for use in calves less than 50 kg body weight.

A representative sample of animals should be weighed before treatment either with scales or a weighband. Dose rate to be based on heaviest cattle in each group (bulls, cows, steers, calves, etc.).

DO NOT underdose. Where there is a larger variation in size within the group, draft into two or more lines based on body weight, to avoid excessive overdosing.

Recommended Applicators

  1. 60 mL Fasimec™ Cattle Pour-On Applicator.
  2. 60 mL Genesis Power Doser™ (fitted with a non-splash pour-on nozzle).

After use clean all equipment with cooking oil. DO NOT use water.
